Two days ago we went to our library for a story time. This was about Japan. We found our spots and the girls were comfortably seated Japaneese style on the floor. The library lady started talking about Japan and at the very beginning asked the children if they could point to Japan on the map. To my amazement I saw Ania standing up and marching to that map, there without a hesitation she put her finger right where Japan is. I was floored. I think I had shown her Japan once and a long time ago and yet she remembered.
